I’m back with another edition of Mainstream Media Madness. This time, we explore clips from The Today Show and Dr. Oz (and sometimes a combination of the two) on the following topics: “healthy” candy swaps, cholesterol, saturated fat, animal products, “healthy plant oils,” “SUPERHERO tips” for getting to “the finish line” (including how you can scrapbook your way to losing half your body weight), and how Dr. Oz really missed the mark with his Mary J. Blige interview about her recovery from drugs and alcohol.
I have to admit this episode starts out a little slow but I start to get fired up about half-way through. I actually went back and listened to it (which I don’t usually do) and I’m frustrated that there are some points I wanted to make but failed to since I was doing this completely off the cuff. Next time I’ll write out the main points I want to make for each segment.
