I hear from a lot of people who want things. I get email after email from people telling me about their situation and all the things they want to change. How they’re this and that. How this thing has slowed them down and that thing has crippled them altogether.
There are lot of people curled up tight in a fetal position on the cold floor of their Personal Alcatraz. Their mindset just isn’t in the right place. An over-sized, wet blank smothers their fire.
Others are struggling with their past. They’re sitting amongst the skeletons of their shattered attempts at making change. I can see them examining the bones like an archaeologist, asking, “How did you die?” The fear of failing again and adding to their morgue keeps them from trying any further.
A third group is growing more damaged by their lifestyle each day, but has yet to find the motivation to take action. They’re not happy with what they see in the mirror and they don’t feel good.
That third group is a big one. It’s most people. They make jokes about their lifestyle. Their favorite past-time is self-deprecating. Pain is their only inspiration. When they get sick or broken, they’ll move. When the pain of their situation over-rides the supposed pain of doing something about it, they’ll take action.
There are more groups, but you get the point. It doesn’t matter which one of these groups you’re in, the bottom line is that you’re stuck. Today is the day that you get unstuck. Everything you need to win big is in this article. All you have to do is just start already. Excuses are for people who want to win and never do.
