A visitor named Greg sent me a well meaning email with a bunch of questions about a fitness protocol that his personal trainer gave him, wondering if it was conflicting with “current research.” He asked a lot of “micro” related questions, but there were a lot of red flags that Greg was missing the macro understanding of this process.

I emailed Greg back a one sentence reply. A question. And that’s when things got weird. And that’s when the idea for creating this episode was born.
