This is the first routine for the Rebooted Body Minimalist Workout Series! I’m a huge fan of getting the job done in a short time frame with the least amount of equipment necessary. The goal of this series is to introduce you to exactly what that looks like.

We’re using the Onnit Battle Bag for all sandbag workout videos. You can get yours here: http://rbody.co/onnit-battle-bag

Today we’re combining two movements, a clean and a squat, for a very simple routine and then stepping down from ten reps to one, for time. In other words, the rest between sets should be none — or minimal.

I typically use a weight anywhere from 35% to 45% of my bodyweight. In this video, the weight was about 35% (roughly 60 pounds).

If you’re a pro or in excellent shape, do two rounds.

Of course, if you’re new to these movements you should use a lighter weight for learning purposes before diving in. If anything feels sketchy, I’d highly recommend seeking the help of a personal trainer to assist you with proper form. Don’t hurt yourself.
