It’s not a question I receive often, but it’s an important question because any gap between results and expectations can result in you abandoning an authentic approach for no reason.

That results-expectations gap makes you susceptible to “shiny object syndrome” — the desire to jump ship and “try the next big idea.”

I’ve seen it happen and it’s one of the most frustrating things about being a coach.
