Hello Rebooted Body community! My name is Zach Franke. I just joined the team and I’m excited to dive in and do my part helping Rebooted Body fulfill its core mission of changing the landscape of human health.

My goal is that by the end of this article, you’ll know a bit more about who I am and why I believe Rebooted Body is doing some of the most important work in the health world today.

First, I just want to acknowledge Kim’s previous role within this community and thank her for leaving such a great legacy to live up to. I know she was an extremely positive and supportive force for a lot of you, so I look forward to continuing that tradition of excellence.

My Background

I live in Cincinnati, OH and have been health coaching independently for almost four years. My personal mission is to help educate and empower those that seek health changes with the tools and confidence to not only go out and make it happen, but also trust that the inevitable twists and turns along the way are intended to be there for your personal growth on all levels.

In 2012, I felt the call to leave my corporate marketing job and go make an impact in the one area that I knew I had extreme passion for: helping real people get real results with their health. Since then, I’ve coached hundreds of men and women of all ages, always with a focus on healing root causes and playing the long game.

But I wasn’t always known as “Health Coach Zach.”

Far from it.

Growing up, I like to joke that I was “the pickiest eater this side of the Mississippi.”

During my adolescent years I lived off of all those hyperpalatable junk foods and ANTI foods that I’m sure you’ve heard Rebooted Body talk about!

I went 15 years without eating any other vegetables other than corn and baby carrots. I drank about 3-4 sodas a day and enjoyed pizza, ice cream, canned ravioli, and pop tarts as my staples.

An absolute health nightmare looking back…

It actually got to the point that my mom was begging me to eat multivitamins every morning because I was so stubborn and undernourished.

By the time I got to college I was 6’ 5” and weighed only 155 pounds. I had cystic acne, suffered from severe digestive issues, couldn’t bench press a 45 pound barbell, and had accepted that I was probably going to get some rare cancer by the time I was 30.

I remember one time in high school a 60 Minutes report came on at a friend’s house about processed meat being linked to cancer and the entire room looked at me and smirked.

Yes, it was that bad.

Anyways, through too many events to share on this post, I was fortunate enough to have a pretty big health swing my freshman year of college by exercising and fueling my body with nourishment for the first time.

I put on almost 40 pounds of healthy weight in under six months. My acne went away, my energy improved, I got off my allergy medications, and my confidence went way, way up.

The changes that I experienced from deciding to focus on my health absolutely blew my mind and reshaped the course of my life forever.

It certainly hasn’t been a straight line to get here, but I am who I am today as a coach because of where I have been and I cannot wait to serve you within this amazing community and watch your personal journey unfold!

Why Rebooted Body is The Future

For me, I saw the power of real food and pretty much never looked back.

But, boy was it a struggle to maintain my momentum after that initial “transformation.”

For almost eight years afterwards I was drowning in wrong information, failed tactics, program hopping, negative self-talk, and searched endlessly for “the answers” I was missing to living a vibrant and healthy life.

I’ve long had the food part down, but even to this day I am still learning how to manage all the manipulators that come into life’s view that try to knock us off our games.

As Kevin alluded to in his most recent podcast episode, “I’ve been punched in the face” and “been dropped” dozens of times. In the ring of health in today’s environment, it’s simply an inevitability.

That’s why the philosophies that Rebooted Body puts out every day are SO CRITICAL in my mind.

Getting a body and life you love is not a straight line and the future of the fitness industry I believe hinges on how effectively solutions are created that embrace the long game in health.

Out of all the books, documentaries, seminars, programs, and talking heads in the health industry today, no one has created a more honest, empowering, truthful, and in my opinion, groundbreaking platform revealing what it ACTUALLY takes to help people than Kevin Geary through Rebooted Body.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to play a role in accomplishing the larger mission of changing the landscape of human health and I am ready to get my hands dirty and dive in!
